Dead Horse Alcove

Location: Utah, Dead Horse Point State Park

There is so much beauty in this park, yet the large crowds detract. None-the-less, I found this private spot just off a main trail and was interested in painting both the sense of deep shadow in the cliff/alcove and the harsh light in the distance and foreground.
